Process of a study

Upon receiving your physician’s referral or your request for information, a research coordinator will contact you. They will then present the ongoing study projects that may meet your needs.

Once a suitable study project is identified, the research coordinator will send you the associated consent form so that you can fully review it and make an informed decision about your participation.

You will then be invited to ask any questions you may have after reading the form to the research coordinator as well as our team of physicians.

Selection visit

A selection visit lasting an average of 3 hours will be scheduled. During this visit, the research coordinator will have you sign the consent form, and you will meet with the physician. They will then take your complete medical history and perform various procedures specific to the research project, such as a physical examination, taking your vital signs, blood samples, an electrocardiogram, and more.

Once your participation is confirmed, your research coordinator will explain the specific process for this study. You may be asked to fill out symptom diaries and attend visits to the center.

Close medical monitoring provided by specialist physicians, including pulmonologists
