A research project\u2014 or clinical trial\u2014aims to collect data to determine whether a new drug or treatment is effective and safe. There are different types of clinical trials; unlike those involving healthy subjects, the trials conducted at the center are carried out with the participation of subjects who have a specific disease for which the drug under study is indicated. <\/p>

All clinical trials are subject to strict regulations by Health Canada, an independent ethics committee, and other regulatory bodies. CIC Mauricie is recognized for its compliance with the rules set by the authorities. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
